Who is Mitt Romney?

People in Massachusetts may have known him for he had been the governor of this region during the period of 2003 up to 2007. He is a businessman who also works in politic area. Born in 12 March 1947 with the full name of Williard Mitt Romney, this man is the pride son of George W. Romney and Lenore. Romney is CEO and co-founder of Bain Capital who owns remarkable achievements in his field.

Romney, the alumnus of Harvard University began his career as politician by joining Republican Party. He was elected as Massachusetts governor in 2002; but later he did not want to be re-elected.

Mitt Romney began his career as management consultant in Massachusetts. In 1977, Bain&Company hired him. His magnificent achievement made him appointed as a vice- president of the company. Only in few years later, Romney was claimed to one out several best consultants which many clients were searching for. He left Bain&Company in 1984 to build Bain Capital; which then he was referred as its CEO and shareholder as well.

In 2002, Romney was chosen to govern Massachustts. Since then, he became more famous. In 2008, in the internal selection of president candidate of Republican Party, Romney was defeated by John McCain who was later beaten by Barrack Obama on the president election.

Fortunately, most supporters of Republican Party give full support for Romney to be the contestant of USA president election in 2012; to fight against the recent president from the opponent party: Barrack Obama.

At the end of last August 2012, Mitt Romney is officially appointed as the representative of Republican Party in the president election 2012. He will challenge the current president in 6 November.

This announcement was made during the national convention of Republican Party held in Tampa, Florida. Romney successfully got more than the minimum number of 1,144 delegations from all over country; the requirement which must be completed as the president candidate.

His wife, Ann Romney, had a speech in front of the convention participants, conveying that her husband will be able to do the president multi tasks with his ability. Although some people doubted his Mormon faith and disability to govern the USA, all elements of Republican Party has declared their support to win Mitt Romney as the USA president.
